David Beckham to receive award for his charity work
The international sporting legend will join Eva Longoria at the third annual Global Gift Gala, taking place in Paris, to receive the prestigious award for his work with the Malaria No More UK Leadership Council, UNICEF and his role for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
The event will be hosted by Eva Longoria and a number of chairman for the organisation and all funds raised will benefit both The Eva Longoria Foundation and The GREAT Initiative.
“The Global Gift Gala Philanthropist Award recognises prominent figures who dedicate their time and energy to helping those in need. David has worked extensively with a number of charities and we are delighted to be able to honour his humanitarian work at this special event," said Longoria.
The highly anticipated event will feature a red carpet and cocktail reception, entertainment, dinner, tributes to award-winners, a live auction and special performances, with luxury Swiss Watch and jewellery maker Chopard as a supporting contributor to The Eva Longoria Foundation. Special ticket packages including individual tickets, VIP and Gold tables are available for this unique fundraising event.
