A hippo and her round, innocent calf got a little too close to a bull elephant that was grazing nearby. The scuffle that took place between the two enormous animals was jaw-dropping.
This fully grown hippopotamus and her offspring got a little TOO close to elephants grazing nearby.
An elephant bull charged the momma hippo and her young.
The mother bravely defended her baby. The bull flipped her with his trunk.
Luckily, although the fight looks bad, the hippo walked away with merely a scratch.
Every mother in the animal kingdom knows what is most important: their young.
Fully grown hippos can weigh over 1.5 tons, but the elephant tossed her with ease.
The baby hippo and her mom were quickly reunited and finished grazing off in the distance by themselves.
It just goes to show that even animals that big would do backflips for their young (even if they didn’t mean to).
Most people believe that they are safe inside their own homes. This story just proves, though, that even that is rarely true. Two boys were playing rough in their parents room when they made a startling discovery. This could chill any homeowner down to their very core.
The police are still looking for the individual that was living in their walls. Since there was little food, it seemed that he came and went as he or she pleased. There was a small pile of clothes around the bedding. The candy seen strewn about the room was actually one of the boy’s, but whoever was living in the wall crept out at night to steal some for himself.
Good luck falling asleep tonight.
The house was built in the early 2000s. There was nothing to suggest there was anything weird about it.
Except when the new owners’ two songs were horsing around and dislodged a bookshelf…
That movable bookshelf revealed a secret staircase.
The tall, spiral staircase seemed to lead downward directly into a wall.
But halfway down, there was a crawlspace.
Inside, the two boys found the most terrifying thing: evidence that someone was squatting. In their own walls.
Whoever was living there had small objects with them, like the elephant seen here.
They also had a key that unlocked only God knows what.
And of course, they also found creepy dolls hidden in the room.
Because every stranger living secretly inside of your walls need dolls with soulless eyes.

- Melissa Bachman presents a series called Winchester Deadly Passion about hunting
- The 'hardcore huntress' posted a picture of herself with a lion she killed on Twitter
- The reaction was immediate condemnation
- A petition to prevent her from returning to South Africa, where she shot the lion, has been signed more than 13,000 times
TV presenter Melissa Bachman raised ire when she posted a photo of a mature male lion she allegedly shot and killed on Twitter and Facebook.
Within hours of the post, an online petition by Cape Town resident Elan Burman asking the South African government to ban Bachman from ever returning to the country was launched.
The picture depicts Bachman crouching over the carcass of a male lion with its eyes closed, paws either side of its head, as she holds her gun and smiles toothily.

'She is an absolute contradiction to the culture of conservation this country prides itself on,' wrote Burman.

Deadly passion: The 'Trophy Room' section of Bachman's website has 65 photographs of her posing with different dead animals |
Signatory Richard Robinson wrote, 'You didn't kill a lion, you stood behind a machine and pulled a little trigger, you pathetic, sad excuse of a human.'
The African lion is considered a vulnerable species. Numbers are rapidly declining due to loss of habitat and conflict with humans.
However, hunting lions is legal in several countries, including South Africa where Bachman bagged her big male.

Bachman's social media pages and website reveal an array of huge beasts that have died after coming in contact with her. The 'Trophy Room' section of her website features a grinning Bachman with dead deer, antelope, alligators, turkeys and hogs.
This latest furor is not the first time Bachman has run afoul of anti-hunting groups.
Last year, she was slated to appear on the National Geographic Channel's Ultimate Survivor Alaska but was dropped after a Change.org petition that called Bachman a 'contracted trophy killer' was signed more than 13,000 times in less than 24 hours.

On the fly: No game is too small for Bachman to take aim at |
Minnesota-based Bachman, whose blog includes posts such as 'Why every girl should try bowhunting' and 'Stupid hunting regulations I just can't stand,' is the host of a television series called Winchester Deadly Passion.
In each episode, she travels to a locale and hunts its native animals with a variety of weapons including her beloved bow and arrow.
Lourens Mostert, a manager at the Maroi conservancy where Bachman shot the lion said the hunt was legal.
'If it isn't right to hunt these lions, why does out government legally give us permission?' he told the Daily Telegraph.
'This is not the only lion that has been hunted in South Africa this year.'

18 year-old Cheng Changjiang was relaxing after exams and posing for pictures at a rural spot in Xinyang, at Henan province in central China, when tragedy struck.
What happened next would affect Cheng so seriously and so permanently, but that didn’t stop him from putting his life on the line to save children in trouble.
Cheng Changjiang was so happy when he posed for this picture…. but he would be dead only minutes later.
After the picture was taken, he noticed three little children fell into the water and were drowning. He couldn’t swim, but the teen jumped into the water to save the kids anyway.
He heard the screams and didn’t even wait to go into the water after them.
As the teenager was rescuing the last child, a man rushed to his aid. After handing the 11 year-old girl over, Cheng Changjiang sank underwater.
When bystanders were able to pull him from the water, it was too late. “When we pulled him from the water he was dead, there was no chance to save his life.”
It was typical for Cheng to put others ahead of himself, even if it meant putting his own life on the line. We think more people need to know what he did for those children. Please share this article.

Harold Jellicoe (“Coe”) Percival died at the age of 99, entirely alone. He was a celebrated World War II veteran and bomber commander. He wouldn’t have anyone to attend his funeral service, so a soldier injured while serving in Afghanistan, Sgt Rick Clement, was determined to make sure he was given a proper send off. The response his plea received was incredible.
When Rick saw this heartbreaking notice, he posted online: “I need a big favour from any military or ex-serving members. This fallen soldier at 99-years-old is having a funeral on Monday and he has no family to attend.”
“If you’re in the area give him the send off he deserves.”
“This guy needs and deserves your help.”
The response? Hundreds of strangers have pledged to attend this fallen soldier’s funeral. Many are veterans, but there are still countless people who just want to make sure this veteran is properly honored.
“Me and a few other guys are going up on Monday. I live about 5 minutes away from the crematorium so it’s really the least I could do”
“Alright I’m going, we have to give this guy a great send off.”
The outpouring of support from complete strangers restores our faith in humanity and shows that people truly are good at heart. This 99 year old veteran did not deserve to die alone – and now, he won’t.

This all happened somewhere in China, and got captured on CCTV.
A Teleportation Angel Saved Man from Certain Death
It’s an amazing proof of an angel saving a man from certain death who was almost about to be run over by a truck.
The Approaching Truck
Watch the truck as it approaches the junction. Watch the man coming in from left on the rickshaw.
About to Bang
The still image from CCTV footage shows the truck and the man are about to collide. Death is nearly certain!
The Angel Arrives
Just as the truck is about to hit the man, the angel (that’s what they call it) arrives out of nowhere!
What Happened Here?
Did the truck run over the man? No. Just watch the light that appears on the top right side of the photo!
Angel Saved the Man
The angel teleported the rickshaw puller towards a corner. CCTV footage clearly shows the angel teleported the man towards the corner of the junction.
Truck Driver Reacts
The truck driver gets down to see if he crushed the man under his truck, but finds nothing.
Angel Saves, and Leaves.
The angel saves the man and leaves the scene. Truck driver, on the other hand, seems highly confused.
Rickshaw Man Seems in Shock
The man pulling rickshaw seems to be in a state of shock and can’t believe he is alive. He takes some rest and gets back into senses. Here’s the video! Watch it to believe it.

At first, the photo seems to depict two fingers, but these are not what you think they are. The photo is actually of a young woman’s legs.
The woman was told to kneel in frozen peas (or possibly dried chickpeas) as a form of torture. This kind of punishment has been used in some cultures to motivate students to behave or to become subservient. This is a viral image going across the internet. Some sources have listed this photo as that of a school girl being punished by her teacher, but others have argued that the picture was sourced from a website for individuals who get a kick out of watching this type of punishment from one to another. Yes folks, believe it or not some get satisfaction by watching others who experience physical pain.
Please do share your thoughts on what you think this is and if this is an acceptable form of dicipline.
OUCH!
